6aSide World Cup Tournament Day 2023

The Street Football World Cup 6v6 tournament will be held on Sunday 19th November at Medowbank Park, West Ryde. This is a whole day tournament. 

Under 6 to Under 11 will play from 8am. 

Under 12 to Over 35 will play from 12pm.

Competition: Small sided games, six-aside, competitive and social, male, female and mixed. 

Rules:

• Each team will play a minimum of four games
• Maximum number of players on the field at one time is six. Maximum Ten players per team
• Only registered and paid-up players can compete
• 10 min each half, interchange, no off sides
• Shoes and shin pads must be worn. Preferably running shoes. No hard studded boots
• Matching coloured team shirts
• No slide tackling
• Serious foul play, dissent of referee, or foul language will result in dismissal from the game
• Free kicks will all be indirect i.e. no goal can be scored directly
• Provisions for penalty kicks when required to settle a game
• All players not on the field must wear the tournament bibs (supplied)
• Under 6 and 7 – no goal keeper required
• This is a single use plastic free event and all players are advised to bring their own bottle

The club will be selecting the best team/s possible in each age group/division. Each team will have a maximum of 10 players.

Entry cost will be $25 per player for players registered with the club for 2023 and have uniform. 

Outside players are welcome to join a team for this tournament at a cost of $45 per player. Playing shirts will be provided and players will supply thier own white shorts and socks.

 Both of these options will be available as "tickets".

Every team entered plays a minimum of 4 matches.

You can enrol players and pay entry through this event. Entries close on November 3th, any tickets purchased after this date will be dependant on places in existing teams. After November 3th all entries are final and no refunds will be given after this date.
